Trusting Realistic Object Work with Kris Wiener

How many improv scenes are just two people standing and talking to each other? But how often is that how people actually interact? This will be a workshop to practice object work and believable miming. We want to trust the silliness of making and eating an invisible salad while having a completely unrelated conversation with your scene partner.

Kris Wiener

Kris Wiener is a New York-based improviser and actor. She has performed and coached improv comedy for 10 years, and was on the UCB Harold Teams Some Kid and Too Damn Much.

She studied acting with Terry Knickerbocker, and focuses on emotional and truthful scene choices in between dick jokes. Her current running shows are Old Yorkers and KidProv (a family-friendly improv show at The People’s Improv Theater— no dick jokes there).
